Emergency Medical Service
The Oakbrook Terrace Fire Protection District provides advanced life support care for the persons living and working within the corporate limits of the Fire District. This care is provided on a 24/7 basis by licensed paramedics certified by the Illinois Department of Public Health. These personnel staff the advanced life support medic unit and an advanced life support engine.
Additionally, the advanced life support program is operated under the guidelines of the Good Samaritan Hospital system, which requires all personnel to secure continuing education in emergency care. We will always be prepared with the most updated training, ensuring you receive the best available care and advanced life support.
For additional information relating to the emergency medical program, please feel free to contact the Fire District or the EMS coordinator, Lt. Joseph D. Frieri. If you need additional information relating to medical billing or questions regarding medical services provided, please contact the fire district's administrative assistant, Renee Boksa.
