CPR Education
OAKBROOK TERRACE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT strongly encourages all persons to secure formalized training in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). This life-saving technique, coupled with the use of AEDs (automatic external defibrillators), greatly enhances the chances of survivability for those individuals suffering a heart attack. Being CPR trained can help your career. It's required for some jobs — like teachers, mental health professionals, and medical professionals — and other jobs look favorably upon it.
Our CPR courses are typically offered in the evening contingent of personal need. Additionally, our first aid training is designed to address the needs of first responders, emergency care providers, and the general public.
